Karl has raised and donated £3000.00 to The Hive College, Birmingham.
This has allowed a group of students to enjoy a residential trip away that they would otherwise not have had the opportunity to do due to funding cuts.
We hope they have a brilliant time away at Butlins!
“I am writing to express my sincere thanks to you for raising and donating £3000 towards our students’ residential trip to Butlins Bognor Regis this year. As you are aware, we have taken a group of students every year since The Hive College started, but due to cut backs in education funding, we did not think it would be possible to do so this year.
The students develop so much during the week away from home, they are encouraged to do more things independently and make their own choices, but it also gives them the opportunity to socialise with their friends, which they are not able to do when they are not at college.
The students were so excited when I told them that your donation will make it possible for them to go to Butlins and I would like to thank you on their behalf for your generosity.”
