Description:

This project was a business referral taken on by Kevin. Kevin went out to the site to measure up and discuss ideas and expectations.

This project is an LEP sponsored activity with the assistance of a donation from the estate of a dedicated employee Bill Turnbill at JCB. Bill Turnbill’s executors decided to donate money for the school when a rare Bugatti that Bill restored was auctioned and raised a substantial amount of money. Bill was a dedicated engineer who worked at JCB for many years and was pivotal in establishing many JCB products.

JCB Academy required a complete office redesign to accommodate  a new learning centre consisting of  CAD and animation suite, Robotics, mechatronics & automation suite, boardroom, break out area for their students.

Our space planning team designed the rooms offering a variety of options as well as reflecting the company colours. Kevin decided to use modern furniture with an industrial feel in terms of finish, which included Pure desks with Vibe chairs in the IT suites and classrooms which are a popular choice. All new furniture with full cable management and USB smart charge in each students desk for wireless phone charging. In the meeting rooms we used Breeze high back meeting chairs to complement a Knok boardroom table. Our installation team completed the refurbishment ready for the academy to enjoy their new space.
